TOS

TweetMy311 is not affiliated with a municipal government. It is an independently developed service designed to take advantage of 311 APIs being deployed in San Francisco and other places.

Use of this service is completely voluntary, and by using it you agree to the following terms of service.

TweetMy311 Terms of Service

This service is currently in beta, which means that the underlying software is still under active development. Because of this, and because of the possibility of service disruptions with Twitter, TweetMy311 makes no guarantee that use of this service will result in the successful creation of a service request.

Service requests created by using TweetMy311 are not private, and it is possible to view requests submitted by specific users by searching Twitter or by viewing individual Twitter user’s profiles. if you wish to submit a 311 service request that is not public, contact your municipality directly.

Because one of the underlying goals of TweetMy311 is to learn more about building Open311 applications, and to share that information with developers and municipal officials, a record of 311 service requests created through the service is maintained for future review and evaluation. Specifically, we will retain a copy of the tweet you send to TweetMy311 and the response sent back from the 311 API. The information in your tweet may also include locational information and any other information you choose to publish in your Twitter profile.

Changes to the Terms of Service

The Terms of Service described herein are subject to change, and may be changed without advance notice. if you have questions about these Terms of Service, or questions about the TweetMy311 service, please contact the project sponsor.
